Bio:

Hi, I am Amelia! I have lived in Washington Heights and my hometown has now become Fairfield County, Connecticut but I am currently studying in the Bronx, NY. A few of my favorite hobbies include reading, walking my dogs, and playing softball. After struggling with depression and anxiety throughout middle school and high school due to friend group and family troubles, I became passionate about mental health and I wanted to become an advocate for mental health so others do not have to feel like their alone in their feelings.

What I'm doing currently:

I am currently a sophomore at Fordham University where I am studying Biology and Psychology on a pre-medical track. I volunteer as an EMT at my school as well as tutor kids in my community and play softball on my school’s club softball team.

Life experiences:

💪 Self-Confidence
😔 Depression
🏞️ Loneliness
