Emily,

23

Pronouns:

She/Her

Education:

SMU

Bio:

I am passionate about mental health and what it means to find joy and ease in life. Sometimes that means setting tough boundaries or making decisions that some people disagree with. But we can do hard things (and they get a little easier when we have someone supportive on our team). I currently work on the suicide hotline and as a academic coach and go to yoga classes with friends on the weekend.

What I'm doing currently:

I'm in my first year of grad school studying mental health counseling and loving it so much. I'm also living with friends for the first time and we're teaching ourselves how to cook while watching old TV shows from our childhood.

Life experiences:

Sexuality
Academic stress
Friend drama
Productivity
