Mackenzie,

Pronouns:

She/Her

Education:

NYU

Bio:

I just graduated in May from NYU with a major in Media culture and communications and a minor in business of entertainment, media, and tech. I've been in therapy for 10 years and am passionate about teens having the nonjudgemental outlet I was lucky to find. I'm unconventional and good-natured outspoken. I feel very attuned to the emotions and energies of others. Supporting a mentee is something I have always wanted to do, I wish I had someone when I was a teen who had gone through the same experiences I had. Especially ones related to surviving highschool and entering college. Throughout my life I've dealt with self-Identity (ethnicity/race), hyper-religious/political parents and upbringing, self-harm, issues with authority, rebellion, abusive romantic relationships, and masochism.

What I'm doing currently:

Content Marketing for corporate America 🙃

Life experiences:

Family dynamics
Self identity
Domestic abuse
Body image
