Bio:

Hi I'm Sam! I live in Aiken, SC and am currently a student at USC Aiken studying psychology. After graduation I plan to to pursue a Ph.D. in social psychology to research relationships. In my free time, I love crocheting, making handmade gifts, photography, going to the drive-in movie theatre, spending time with friends, and being with my horses. I wanted to become a mentor to be a supportive and safe space for teens while they navigate their lives. As someone who didn’t have that growing up, I want to be a safe, consistent, and encouraging presence for others.

What I'm doing currently:

Right now, I’m a senior Psychology student at the USC Aiken. Since I'm a senior I'm looking into graduate programs and exploring different career paths that align with my passion for mental health and research. Outside of school, I’m working with my wild mustang, Venice. The process has been a challenging but incredibly rewarding. I’m also working hard and saving up to buy a new car!

Life experiences:

🏞️ Loneliness
📚 Academic Stress
😰 Social Anxiety
😔 Depression
